Spring Break Wardrobe

Photos courtesy of La Vie En Rose

So I'm going to Mexico this Saturday. The beau decided after spending a thrilling week in Winnipeg for New Years that maybe we should go somewhere warm.... So we're going to the Mayan Rivera for a whole week!

The above bikini is one I purchased from La Vie En Rose for my trip. I'm not a fan of bathing suits in general, but this one is fantastic and doesn't make me look like a 12 year old boy trying on his big sisters bathing suit! Needless to say, there will not be bathing suit photos posted, I will post photos of the pretty flowers, ruins and etc when I get back though.

I've also packed enough dresses to wear about 2 a day. I know, for a fashion blogger I should be far more efficient but its been bloody freezing here and I'm going to relish the warmth and sunshine and wearing my pretty summer dresses without sweaters and tights as much as possible!

Best Pants Ever!

Cardigan: Joe Fresh
T-shirt: F21
Necklace: Gift from Amy
Belt: Winners
Pleather Pants: Gift from Natasha
Oxfords: Spring

So I finally have a pair of badass pants! All thanks to my amazing friend Natasha. As seen in the above photos I develop a bit of an attitude while wearing these pants. But I mean really, how can I help it? I love them so much there aren't words to do them justice. Notice the fabulous little zippers at the bottom of the leg and the knee articulation. Such a smart lady that Natasha.....

Sadly the weather has been ridiculously cold so these photos were taken inside!

Does anyone else have badass pants?

Cindarella Wishes She Had A Dress Like This....

Silk Chiffon Leopard Print Evening Gown

So I thought that I would not touch up these photos in any way so I could say just how fabulous I think this dress is without any extras but now I see my demon eyes.....

Well, heres the final dress, you got to see the process, all the pieces and now at long last the final garment!
All I can say is how very proud I am of this dress, and even that doesn't capture the enjoyment I had wearing it. I will add that i danced all night in this dress and did not even once worry about it sliding off because it fits so brilliantly!

But now I wonder, how I will top this in the future?

Weather Was Not A Factor

T-shirt: F21
Vest: Refind
Skirt: BCBG
Leather Jacket: Leather Market, Florence
Tights: Winners
Boots: Nine West
Feather Earrings: Self made

Okay, so I can't get enough of these boots. Really. I've managed to think of so many different ways to wear them, even summertime so I will never have to be without them!
Well, I most certainly did not check the forecast when I decided on this outfit, but I don't care it was fun and I'm not sure I would of gone with something else anyways so oh well.

I've just noticed a big thread on the back of my skirt in the last photo. These photos were taken at the end the day in my office, due to the blizzard outside. We've gotten some serious snow around here lately and I'm excited, that means snowboarding!!!! I'm going this weekend. But I'm getting off topic.....

This past week I went to a party with the beau and got to wear my leopard print evening gown. Its amazing, I've never been so proud of something I've made. I also don't think I've ever spent so much time on one garment, but hey it paid off. Anyways, I'll be posting those photos later on this week, stay tuned.
